- Cleaning & descaling. Hydro-jetting and mechanical cutting clear roots, grease and scale so the liner bonds to bare pipe wall.
- Measure & cut the liner. We size the felt/fiberglass liner to the exact run length and pipe diameter.
- Resin saturation (wet-out). The liner is impregnated with a two-part epoxy resin in-house, on site, under controlled timing.
- Inversion or pull-in. The wet liner is inverted or winched into the host pipe and pressed tight against the old wall with an internal bladder.
- Curing. Ambient, hot-water or UV (blue-light) curing hardens the resin into a rigid new pipe — typically a few hours, not days.
- Final camera verification. We re-camera the finished liner, reinstate any branch connections, and hand you the footage so you can see the repair for yourself.

Open-trench excavation is the fallback when a line is fully collapsed in a way that blocks both lining and bursting, when the slope (pitch) is wrong and must be re-graded, or when a section must be relocated. It’s the most invasive but sometimes the only correct fix. We tell you straight which one your line needs — we don’t oversell lining where it won’t hold.
When NOT to Use CIPP
CIPP is not a cure-all. We will not recommend lining if your pipe is fully collapsed with no host wall to line against, if the line has a back-pitch or belly that needs re-grading (a liner follows the old slope, including the bad part), if there are major offsets or separations the liner can’t bridge, or if the diameter is undersized and needs upsizing. In those cases pipe bursting or a targeted dig is the honest answer, and that’s what we’ll quote.
